OOTD-WOOLY SKIRT

These last couple of weeks have been hectic! My life is being taken over by essay after essay- not cool! I can't believe this is my first post since I've given my hair a bit of a chop! It's surprisingly growing quite quick and I feel like I'm missing the shortness already and that scares me because I will probably end up going shorter!

Jumper - Primark | Skirt - Vintage | Necklace - H&M | Shoes - Primark

I actually picked this skirt up before Christmas in a vintage shop, strangely with the label still on? Anyway it was originally €60 in whatever shop it was from originally but I got it for €20! I was a bit skeptical because I hardly wear the maxi and midi skirts I have, let alone a woolen one, but I am so glad I picked it up now. Admittedly, it is a little awkward to walk in because there isn't much natural stretch to it, but the fact I probably take giant footsteps doesn't help the situation too much.

I feel like it's just quite an easy outfit to chuck on with another jumper or a plain tee, but I must admit I am struggling to find anything else. However, I will succeed in finding the dreamy outfit to go with this skirt!

This time next week I would have just arrived in Porto with my boyfriend Ryan. I booked us a long weekend away last month and was meant to leave it as a surprise for him until this weekend but I'm rubbish at holding in the excitement of surprises, so I burst and had to tell him!

I hope you have all had a fab week and the weekend is going to be brilliant for you- celebrating Valentines or not! I'm going to a George Ezra gig and I am SO stuck on what to wear, fashion blogger struggles!

¡Hasta Luego!

Sam xx

  13. Haha, I hate it when skirts are restrictive. I am a lover of a circle skirt so I tend to not have these issues. But every so often I wear one of my tighter skirts and only remember when my two steps in one go tactic for getting up stairs is not quite as easy as normal. Being a girl is hard!
