Wishlist- Duster Coats

¡Hola!

This post I feel as though I have been planning unconsciously for a while now, probably for about as long as my obsession with duster coats has been lingering around. I feel myself becoming completely besotted with them, I think if I had one it would be my staple piece for this season and also spring next year. Saying that, I have never actually taken the plunge and purchased one because I fear that I'd buy one, it wouldn't suit me and my dreams would come crashing down!! (Slightly OTT, I apologise!)

I thought I would give you a little run down of my favourites I have my eye on at the moment in the hope that I could give you some inspiration (and probably give myself the final shove to buy one!)

So first up, one from ASOS that I was drawn to completely because most importantly it's in the sale and well, I'm a sucker for anything electric blue! I also had my eye on an ankle length black one which was to die for too, but that sold out within a matter of days and well, let's just not go there...It's only £31, looks ridiculously soft and has a really flattering waist line and belt. What more could a girl want??

Secondly is from Clothes Minded. I have a previous post where I was wearing a pair of their boots and have made a couple of orders with them. Their clothes are really, really affordable and reasonably priced. This duster coat comes in a load of different colours and is only £9.99! (Don't worry I couldn't believe it either when I saw it!) I don't think I've actually seen a duster in this colour which is what drew me to it. I would have definitely ordered this by now but they ship to pretty much everywhere other than Spain! :(

I absolutely love the reverse lapels on this Miss Guided one, it gives it that little bit of interest and especially works well because of the loose fit. The colour is great, fits in with the camo trend and looks greats in an all black outfit as shown above.

This one from Monki is a little more on the expensive side being £65, but I can see why. It looks thicker than some of the others and looks like a long Mac coat. The colour I wouldn't normally like but strangely on this I do. Again, I love the lapels and the detail that goes around the rib area, it gives it a bit more depth. If this wouldn't break my bank, I think I would have ordered this a long long time ago.

Lastly, this one from Boohoo. It reminds me of the maxi shirts which I saw occasionally pop up towards the end of summer which I was again, really wanting to get my hands on. It's chiffon, so I can imagine it being a little thinner than the other ones featured so I wouldn't be sure if it is worth £30 until seeing it. However, this is one of many on Boohoo that are patterned so I think they would be great statement pieces in a winter wardrobe.  This one would look great with a 90's grunge vibe!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, I know it may be a little word heavy for some of you out there. I love to do posts on what I'm lusting over at the moment, even if it does make me slightly sad I can't own everything I love.

Thanks for reading!

¡Hasta Luego¡

Sam xx

    1. I know! I could chuck on a pair of skinny jeans, converse and a t-shirt with a duster coat and my outfit would look really put together! Got to love an item that cuts corners but looks amazing! Xx

  4. Ooh I like the first & second one. I'm exactly the same though...as much as i love the look of these, i don't think i'd suit them! I have a slim waist and wider hips, so I don't think it'd accentuate my figure that well! Danielle x
