In true blogger style I'm sat in Starbucks writing this well over due post with the biggest mug of hot chocolate I have ever set my eyes on. (I can't quite deal with the stereotypical latte's and mocha's, I'm no where near that stage of adult hood yet). Oh, also listening to a 'Throwback Thursday' playlist on Spotify that I cannot get enough of at the moment!

OOTD- Blue Coat
Coat | Primark | €30
Jeans | ASOS | £19.99
Boots | ASOS | £27
Top | Dorothy Perkins | Similar in H&M
Bag | Bershka | €14.99
Today I did a spot of shopping again. My excuse this time was that I needed to pick up some more winter bits for my trip to Bremen this weekend. I keep forgetting that we are infact going for only a couple of days (maybe accidentally on purpose?) so I definitely didn't need half the stuff I picked up. Hey ho, treat yourself round Christmas and all that...
If you have read my last post you would see that I picked this coat up in Primark for only €30, such a bargain! I'm like a magnet to all things electric blue at the moment, I can't keep away from the colour! I think it adds a good amount of bold and fun to what would otherwise be another boring winter outfit.
I finally bought myself a practical pair of winter boots and I'm having a bit of a love/hate relationship with them. I love them and never want to take them off my feet, however they are rubbing my ankles so much. I guess that only calls for never taking them off my feet to wear them in? Sounds like a good deal!
I hope everyone has had a good week so far! Uni deadlines are all coming up so quickly and I feel like I'm more absorbed in Uni than I want to be. That sounds awful I know, but as I'm on my year abroad I feel like I should be out exploring every corner of Madrid instead of staying in everyday and night because of boring essays and exam revision. I haven't had an exam since I did my GCSE's either, I knew I wouldn't get away with that forever!
What's your favourite thing about winter fashion?
If any of you have ever been to Bremen I would love to hear some recommendations. I can Google things but sometimes it's not quite the same as visiting places that aren't on the list that everyone does!
Thanks for reading!
¡Hasta Luego!

Wishlist- Duster Coats
¡Hola!
This post I feel as though I have been planning unconsciously for a while now, probably for about as long as my obsession with duster coats has been lingering around. I feel myself becoming completely besotted with them, I think if I had one it would be my staple piece for this season and also spring next year. Saying that, I have never actually taken the plunge and purchased one because I fear that I'd buy one, it wouldn't suit me and my dreams would come crashing down!! (Slightly OTT, I apologise!)
I thought I would give you a little run down of my favourites I have my eye on at the moment in the hope that I could give you some inspiration (and probably give myself the final shove to buy one!)
So first up, one from ASOS that I was drawn to completely because most importantly it's in the sale and well, I'm a sucker for anything electric blue! I also had my eye on an ankle length black one which was to die for too, but that sold out within a matter of days and well, let's just not go there...It's only £31, looks ridiculously soft and has a really flattering waist line and belt. What more could a girl want??
Secondly is from Clothes Minded. I have a previous post where I was wearing a pair of their boots and have made a couple of orders with them. Their clothes are really, really affordable and reasonably priced. This duster coat comes in a load of different colours and is only £9.99! (Don't worry I couldn't believe it either when I saw it!) I don't think I've actually seen a duster in this colour which is what drew me to it. I would have definitely ordered this by now but they ship to pretty much everywhere other than Spain! :(
I absolutely love the reverse lapels on this Miss Guided one, it gives it that little bit of interest and especially works well because of the loose fit. The colour is great, fits in with the camo trend and looks greats in an all black outfit as shown above.
This one from Monki is a little more on the expensive side being £65, but I can see why. It looks thicker than some of the others and looks like a long Mac coat. The colour I wouldn't normally like but strangely on this I do. Again, I love the lapels and the detail that goes around the rib area, it gives it a bit more depth. If this wouldn't break my bank, I think I would have ordered this a long long time ago.
Lastly, this one from Boohoo. It reminds me of the maxi shirts which I saw occasionally pop up towards the end of summer which I was again, really wanting to get my hands on. It's chiffon, so I can imagine it being a little thinner than the other ones featured so I wouldn't be sure if it is worth £30 until seeing it. However, this is one of many on Boohoo that are patterned so I think they would be great statement pieces in a winter wardrobe. This one would look great with a 90's grunge vibe!
I hope you have enjoyed this post, I know it may be a little word heavy for some of you out there. I love to do posts on what I'm lusting over at the moment, even if it does make me slightly sad I can't own everything I love.
Thanks for reading!

My Wishlist
I always seem to churning wishlist posts out like no end. However, I don't blame myself for this, more the high street stores that have me lusting over pretty much all of their stock. I'm guessing that's normal behaviour for a hard-up student, though?..
Now I'm working at Outfit again, I could easily make a whole ten page wish list for Topshop and Miss Selfridge alone, but I'm trying my hardest to resist every little temptation!
I guess there's a bit of a reoccurring theme here, black, silver and sparkly! That seems to be what I'm going for most at the moment.
I love the idea of the cute little ASOS shoes paired with the silver sparkly Topshop socks, and every other kind of cute sock that's only the market at the moment. (I spotted some Bambi ones in Primark the other day.. Oh my Goodness, cute!)
I'm also finding myself more and more interested in caring about what the bottom half of me looks like too. That probably sounds ridiculous, but recently I'm starting to buy and want a lot more jeans and bottoms than I've normally cared about. I used to just chuck on a pair of jeans and my outfit would be done with, but not no more!
Lastly, I think the T-shirt from River Island is amazing! I'm loving the symmetrical 'busy' type tees at the moment. It can be worn so easily but look so good and trendy!
Thanks so much for reading guys!

£5 Dress Event at Matalan?!
Yesterday I thought I'd have a brief browse on the Matalan website and see what hidden gems I could find. A lot of people refer to Matalan as a bit of an old fogey shop, which probably was it's reputation a good decade or so ago. However, I see it as one of those shops that copies the likes of Topshop and Miss Selfridge (like pretty much every high street stores do), but Matalan seem to get it right pretty much every time and always with a low price.
Anyway, as I was mooching through the dresses, I noticed that from today until Sunday 7th July you can nab yourself some dresses at only a fiver each! (Like what they did there- always looking at other brands for inspiration- Ahem *Motel Rocks*). If I'm honest, I didn't think they would be worth a look at first, assuming they'd be the worst of the bunch, but I was pleasantly surprised!
I thought I'd show you my favourite dresses from the deal and show you how I'd wear them... In an ideal world if I wasn't a student and money was no object. I hope you like!

Dress | Matalan
Boots | Miss Guided
Jacket | Boohoo
Skull Ring | ASOS
Cross Ring | ASOS
Belt | New Look
This dress is definitely my favourite and there is no chance I'm seeing this amazing offer through without getting my hands on this! Classic me, pairing everything with black, but it can't be helped with some of us- aye!
I have been on the look out for boots like this for yonks! Just without the hefty price tag that some of them come with. Now Miss Guided have got them, I may have to treat myself! Although I'm sure if Miss Guided have them Primark will be soon to follow!
I love the look of black red and silver jewellery together, and I think this outfit would be perfect for piling up the silver rings.
Dress | Matalan
Shoes | River Island (via ASOS)
Necklace | Topshop
Cardigan | Internationale
Ring | Topshop
Bag | River Island
This polka dot skater dress can probably be found in any shop, but who can blame them for being everywhere? They're so cute! And with the monochrome colours, the possibilities are endless as to what you could wear this with!
I paired it with this teal cardigan from Internationale which is also only £5. I thought it would also look great with a plain coloured Kimono, but none of them particularly caught my eye.
I thought with this look gold jewellery would work a treat, and kept it simple with only one ring but a big chunky gold chain.
Dress | Matalan
Cardigan | Miss Guided
Boots | New Look
Necklace | ASOS
Sunglasses | ASOS
This skater Midi is my next favourite. I think it's a nice change to see a midi dress that's so tight it's squishing your insides out! (Maybe I'm just a little jealous of the people that can wear them).
Anyway, although neutral dresses can be fairly boring, they're so adaptable and can be layered so easily. Here, I paired it with this tie dye cardigan from Miss Guided. On a recent trip to Urban Outfitters there was a cardigan very similar to this for £70 and I fell in love with it but I couldn't justify spending the money- I think this well may be the next best thing!
The little necklace from ASOS I love, I think it's so cute and dainty but can make such an impact on an outfit.
I really hope you enjoyed this post, it's something a little different to what I usually do.
Do you like me rummaging online and making outfit posts?
Should I do more outfit posts on current deals/ offers?
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading!

Wishing My Day Away
So, I'm back again after severely neglecting my blog. It seems mad that the last time I blogged was in November! This past year has gone so quickly and I can't seem to keep up! I can remember starting first year of uni like it was yesterday, and now I'm finished first year and waiting to move out.
I'm sitting here eating a tin of ravioli after really blowing my bank balance. Everyone's left for summer, my boyfriends and work and I'm in on my own. So what does this mean for Sam? Cruising the internet and pretty much dribbling over things I can't have.
And what a better way to get my bum into gear and start my blog again! Let's get this show on the road!

| Top | Topshop | £26 Jumper | Miss Selfridge | £39 Bracelet | ASOS | £9 Watch | River Island | £25 Boots | Matalan | £22 Bag | River Island | £37 |
The first thing is the very much lusted over by pretty much everyone I think...the Topshop cropped cami's. This one in particular stood out to me for the really cute pattern. These can be found really cheaply in Primark too, but the pattern of this one really stands out to me.
Oh my God this jumper I have been wanting for months. I worked in Outfit for a few months at the beginning of the year and being surrounded by Topshop, Miss Selfridge clothes etc was horrible. I did get a few things whilst I was there but I couldn't justify buying this at that price even with discount. Boohoo!
I've been wanting to build up my jewellery collection for a while as I either break it all or lose it. Simple story with me... I buy jewellery and within a week of having it 9 times out of 10 its missing or snapped, brill! That's where the watch comes in..I very sadly lost my casio watch at a shoot for a film in alton. I left it in a cottage and it hasnt been seen since. Very, very sad times!
The boots.. blimey. I had so much trouble over Christmas trying to find a particular pair of River Island boots in the sale, then I walked into Matalan last week and there's a pair that are pretty similar- if not nicer! Places like Primark and Matalan are really stepping up their game recently with replicas of more expensive brands!
And lastly the bag. I went into River Island with some friends (one being Charlotte) and I fell in love with this bag! It is absolutely huuuge but I'm sure I could find enough rubbish to fill it with!

So there is it! My first blogpost in a while of many more to come!
If you've got any suggestions on what you want to see next from me then let me know!
As always, thanks for reading!

| 1. Spike Pendant Necklace | Newlook | £6.99 2. Cut Out Maxi Dress | Miss Guided | £17.99 3. Lace Insert Tunic | Miss Selfridge | £32.00 4. Camo Jacket | Ark | £29.99 5. Bow Ankle Wellies | New Look | £37.99 6. Zig-Zag Rings | ASOS | £10.00 7. Leather Studded Bag | Topshop | £85.00 Another Weekly Wishlist again! The first thing I can say about this wishlist is... how ANNOYING is it that Primark doesn't have a proper website? I took a trip there at the weekend (with limited funds as always) and there was so so many things I neeeded to have, but couldnt :( Primark, if you're out there, get your website sorted! Haha. Anyway, lets get right into it instead of an unnecessary and boring intro! Firstly the spike necklace, something which can make any plain out boring outfit stand out that little bit more and become a bit more exciting. Plus, if you haven't noticed I have a thing for dark colours and studded clothing and accessories. This cut out maxi dress I think is just stunning and such a great price. Probably two wishes in one, obviously the first of having the dress but secondly being able to have the figure to pull this one off! I can say that I love it but I doubt very much I'd be brave enough to wear it! Anyway, such a chic yet simple dress which would be great for looking that bit more classy on a night out, but still showing a whooole lotta flesh haha. Miss Selfridge is somewhere that I think gets skimmed over a lot, but they always have something in there that I like! This jumper looks so cosy and comfy to wear and could easily be worn with black tights or black skinnies with black ankle boots. Everyone and their mother has a jacket in this style, but I still really want one. Again, something to jazz up a boring outfit, can just be thrown on over anything making it easy, yet effective ;) haha. I'm jealous of anyone going to a festival this year, so so jealous! And one thing that's making me even more jealous (yes I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous) but I keep seeing so many nice wellies everywhere? I feel like just buying a pair to wear everyday but I'm sure that wouldn't go down too well with people in my 'local area'. Now I wouldn't pay nearly £40 for a pair of little wellies unless I won millions on the lottery- yes I am really that much of a tight arse.. but I thought I'd just pop these on here as one of the pieces that's well outta my league! I just love zig zags, intertwining rings and wearing different kinds of metal. Cant really say much else I dont think? Lastly, I need a new bag soooo badly! Although, as you'd probably guess, I wouldn't pay this much for a bag, but one can wish on such a splendid item! Sorry for the rubbish posting recently, I've had such a busy weekend! And on Thursday I'm off to Turkey for two weeks, so I'm going to try and get a few posts sorted out for then if I have time- Sorry if not! (There will be plenty more when I get back!) |
